All of the products that we sell are scriptable. If you require prescription lenses in your frame, we will prompt you during checkout to email us your prescription. We will then be in contact with you directly to discuss lens options and prices. When you provide us with a script that is not from an optometrist at Adelaide City Optometrist, you warrant that it is accurate, complete, non-expired, and was provided by an eligible optometrist or ophthalmologist. By doing so, you agree to have Adelaide City Optometrist confirm your prescription with the optometrist or ophthalmologist. Adelaide City Optometrist cannot process orders using expired, incomplete or invalid prescriptions. Adelaide City Optometrist are not responsible for delays resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided with your order.
Health Fund Claims
Health fund claims can only be issued for purchases of glasses or sunglasses that contain prescription lenses. If you meet this criteria, after payment has been made, you can claim online or instore directly with your health fund provider. You must obtain your receipt and proof of purchase to be eligible.
Please note that certain providers do not allow claims for online purchases and it is recommended that you check your coverage with your fund prior to purchase. Adelaide City Optometrist cannot adjust your tax invoice to allow non-prescription items to be claimed with your health fund, or to allow them to be claimed under another person’s cover.

Shipping and Return Policy
We sell solely to Australian addresses and provide free standard shipping Australia-wide.
All products sold by adelaidecityoptometrist.com.au are brand new and meet industry standards. Prices, products and specifications are subject to change without notice. Ordering through adelaidecityoptometrist.com.au acknowledges that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Prices and GST
All prices are expressed in Australian dollars, and where applicable, include GST. We aim to ensure that all prices displayed on our website are accurate, however, we reserve the right to amend or change prices without any notice.
If you notice any damage on online orders when they arrive, please contact us and attach photographic evidence to email@example.com. While our products are packaged securely, please notify us of any damage due to weather or transportation.
When you place an order, you will receive email confirmation of your order soon after. This means that we have received your order and pre-authorised your credit card (if this is your selected payment method). Once it is confirmed to be in stock, it will be immediately shipped to you.

We do not offer a cash refund for the return of online purchases, unless the item is faulty, provided that the product is unused. We do offer exchanges for goods purchased online to products of an equal or greater value, provided that it is in its original and saleable condition. If it is of a lesser value, we will provide you with a store credit.
