The blockbuster film: Mortal Kombat is a mysterious, intergalactic tournament of ancient martial arts, based on a popular video game of the same name. This action-packed movie was filmed on our local soil! In places such as Port Adelaide, Coober Pedy, Leigh Creek, and Mount Crawford during a 15-week shoot in 2019.
Announcing the film’s SA location, Warner Bros. said they wanted to showcase South Australia’s “locations, facilities and talent”. Mortal Kombat is the largest production to happen in South Australia’s history. And had about 400 people working on it who were from SA.
We were fortunate enough to have some of the cast come into our store to have their coloured contacts fitted for each character, which was a very cool experience for us. We were able to go over how to take care of the contact lenses, how to put them in and other eye health management.
Adelaide City Optometrist offer a range of coloured contacts with up to 12 colours available. Our optometrist, Paul, will teach you how to put the lenses in and how to take care of them and your eyes to ensure you can wear them safely and comfortably. Coloured contacts are great for cosplay, performances, acting, a change of look, fashion and more.
Alcon Air Optix Colors (Monthlys’s)
Whether you are wearing decorative coloured contacts or coloured contacts to correct vision, it is required to have a proper fitting from an optometrist. By purchasing them without a consult from an optometrist it can pose serious risks to sight and eye health.
Mortal Kombat is set to release Friday 16th April. Watch the trailer below!
