For this month’s Home is on Hutt Street series we are focusing on a local cafe.
Over the years, Hutt street has begun to flourish with life as more boutique stores, eateries, coffee shops and clinics have situated themselves here. One of the most talked about cafe’s and still reigning to this day, is Queen of Tarts.
In between Halifax street and Carrington street, this little gem has been providing the locals with another option of delicious cuisine right down the road from Adelaide City Optometrist!
For 24 years, this bustling little spot has been lively with laughter, excellent coffee, and treats. Specialising in tarts, quiches, wraps, pasties, pies and more, this is THE spot to go for a bite to eat and to catch up with friends.
The difference between this cafe and the next is that the cards have been dealt differently here…the owner is the star of the show! If you like banter, long chats and smiling then you’ll love the owner. Not a day goes by where he isn’t cheery, cracking jokes with anybody that walks past and providing next level service to the clientele.
Although the owner won’t disclose anything else about himself, we guarantee if you visit Queen of Tarts, you’ll have a whole-hearted conversation and love him as much as the rest of us do!
Queen of Tarts is open 08.00 – 16.00 everyday.
