My name is Keith Wilkie, I am one of the Directors, alongside Andrew Fitzsimons running Adelaide Lending Services. I have 40 years of finance knowledge behind me (a veteran in finance!)
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN RUNNING THIS BUSINESS?
We had our 10 years anniversary in October 2020.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START THE BUSINESS?
My previous employer was having financial problems, so I requested that I start my own business and sub-contract to them in the first instance.
WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF YOU WEREN’T IN THE FINANCE INDUSTRY?
That is too difficult to think of. My career has been accidental, not driven by tertiary degrees etc.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT HUTT STREET?
Ease of access, ticket-less parking, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and not that far from home!
IS THERE ANYTHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOUR JOB OR SOMETHING YOU ENJOY IN PARTICULAR?
Owning a successful business is very enjoyable in itself, however the purpose of the business is to assist individual consumers and business entities with finance to purchase assets such as motor vehicles and commercial equipment. Being successful at this is very satisfying.
