Chloé has secured its position as the most naturally feminine Parisian fashion Maison. It stands at the intersection of youthful attitude and sophistication. Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. Since, the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Martine Sitbon have all designed for the fashion house.
From day one, Aghion’s vision was to give women the freedom to dare to be themselves. This motto is still a foundation for the brand. Its headquarters remain in Paris, France, and continue to attract creative spirits, artists and innovators alike.
Today, it operates under the design guidance of creative director, Natacha Ramsay-Levi. The style of this creative force can be described as a little eccentric, slightly hippie, but always refined.
Chloé is known amongst the world’s most fashion-conscious, sophisticated women for its chic, feminine style, and must-have accessories. The eyewear we see today is grounded by the brand’s core characteristics: femininity, modernity, grace and effortlessness.
Lightweight frames, iconic embellishments, and industry defying designs are evident in each piece. The latest Rosie and Poppy collections do not stray from these foundations. They feature a mix of iconic elements, including golden metals, retro and oversized shapes, gradient lenses and textured edging on the lenses.
“I am very proud to be part of a house founded by a woman to dress women. I want to create fashion that enhances the personality of the woman who wears it, fashion that creates a character and an attitude, without ever imposing a ‘look’.” – Natacha Ramsay-Levi
